1Password – Bald auch als Passwortmanager für iPhone und iPod touch
Vor kurzem habe ich erst über 1Password dem tollen Passwortmanager für Mac OS X berichtet. Nun ist auch endlich die darin angesprochene Version für das iPhone und den iPod touch fertig und in Kürze über den App Store verfügbar. Im Blog von Agile Web Solutions geben die Entwickler bereits einen ausführlichen Überblick über die neue Applikation:
1Password for iPhone/iPod touch can only be installed directly from the App Store. We are currently awaiting approval from Apple; once completed you will be able to download and install 1Password directly from the App Store.

Dann hoffe ich nur, dass Apple das “1Password for iPhone” bald freigibt. Das Programm muss ich unbedingt haben. Ich wäre sogar bereit dafür noch ein paar Euro auszugeben aber die Entwickler verfolgen offenbar die Strategie über die iPhone-Version mehr Lizenzen für die Mac-Version zu verkaufen.

Die Verkaufsstrategie ist doch ok. Habe ich doch auf meinem Mac die gleich Passwörter, wie auch auf dem iPhone. Und auf dem iPhone möchte ich die am besten gar nicht eingeben.
Ich freue mich auch schon drauf.
Ich halte die Verkaufsstrategie sogar für sehr clever. So bekommen sie mit Sicherheit viel Aufmerksamkeit denn sehr viele Leute werden das Programm auf dem iPhone/iPod touch ausprobieren.
Richtig Sinn macht die iPhone-Version dann auch erst im Zusammenspiel mit der Mac-Version. So eine Synchronisation ist einfach unschlagbar.
